Of the many applications of EFT or tapping through life, sports and performance can often get overlooked.
In the northern hemisphere, as I write, Wimbledon has just finished, the World Cup is reaching its crescendo, FI, cricket and golf tournaments abound and the Commonwealth Games are about to begin. Meanwhile in the southern hemisphere a new rugby union contest is taking place involving 5 countries from each hemisphere.
If you enjoy sport, then this is all very exciting from a fan perspective and we can use EFT to regulate our fan fever. But take a moment to consider today's gladiators. All sports require fitness and it’s not just physical. Mental agility and personal emotions can play a huge part in performance.
EFT For Sport and Performance
The good news is sports people can use EFT to lower cortisol levels and reduce physical symptoms such as a racing heart or muscle tension. It can also be used to reduce negative thoughts or the memory of a past error. Should a player suffer injury stress or game losses, EFT can improve on mental and physical recovery. There are studies in the EFTi database that brief tapping sessions can improve precision and performance.
If sport is not your thing, then perhaps you enjoy the Arts and the many plays and concerts taking place near you. All the above can be applied to our entertainers - singers, bands, orchestras and actors. Many report suffering from debilitating nerves and some profess to use tapping before stepping out into the limelight.
Wherever there is performance, there are people at the top of their tree who, just like you and me, have their human emotions to contend with. There are many methods to enhance physical and mental performance and I, for one, am delighted to see EFT is among them.
Athletes currently noted for using EFT for performance include: Bralon Taplin, Paul Gallen, Seth Joyner, Guillerme Penia.
