Accredited Certified Advanced EFT Practitioner
I have training and extensive experience in working gently, safely and respectfully with shock trauma, chronic trauma, and childhood issues, and helping people move towards greater ease, resilience and aliveness. If you are not where you would like to be, my aim is to help you get somewhere that feels better. Everyone will have their own ideas of what 'better' feels like, and you will know what is right for you. I work with clients in person and via Skype and Zoom, and I am very happy to have a 15-minute chat with you (no charge) so you can decide whether I am the right fit for you. My focus is on helping you find and engage your inner resources towards the wellbeing, safety and goodness you need to thrive.
Those inner resources might not seem much right now, but they can grow into something strong and resilient that will be an invaluable support to you in your life. If you are overcoming the effects of trauma in the past, or trying to find strength to manage current circumstances (or both), I want to be your cheerleader – I'm on your side, and I know you can do it. In addition to my work with EFT, both one-to-one and training others, I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (a specific three-year training in trauma therapy), and a massage therapist. A large part of my work is with people dealing with the effects in their present of stress and trauma in their past, which may show up as difficulty with confidence and self-esteem, relationship issues, struggles at work, or in a huge variety of other issues.
My priority in sessions is that you have an experience of feeling supported, safe, and accepted just as you are. From there, we can use gentle and effective techniques to help you to move forward in whatever way is right for you.
I was an EFT trainer for ten years, and stopped offering training in 2021 to give more time to 1-1 clients. I still offer mentoring to EFT students and practitioners
