Laurie Santos

Hello! I'm Laurie, originally from the San Francisco Bay. I've been an expat now since 2007. Currently, I live in The Netherlands with my Dutch husband; I'm American. We met on a plane headed from Amsterdam to Kuwait where we were both living and working at the time. I'm a Reiki Master, Co-active Coach and an EFT Level II Practitioner. My educational background is in Behavioral Sciences. I have a Master of Science in Criminology and Justice and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology. In December 2006, I gave up my career as a full-time federal probation officer to convert my then part-time coaching practice into a full-time coaching and training business. One of the things that felt most important to me was to be congruent in making sure I was pursuing my dreams while I was coaching others to pursue theirs. Back in 2006, my biggest dream was to live overseas and so I moved to Spain and continued to coach via online sessions. After Spain, I moved to Angola, Africa and then Kuwait. I lived in the Middle East for nearly 8 years till I met my husband and ran my full-time coaching and training business from the Arabian Gulf. It was an incredible experience putting my Anthropology and Coaching trainings to work live and in the flesh among many different cultures. Working with behavior is my jam---I love supporting you in finding patterns that aren't serving you, as well as helping you capitalize on the patterns of behavior that are working in your favor. EFT has been such a phenomenal tool to add to my toolkit as I'm discovering my coaching clients are removing default behaviors and limiting beliefs soooo much quicker. I also find it so extraordinary how Reiki, EFT, and Co-active Coaching are such a brilliant blend with each other---they're so complimentary.
