My name is Dave. I am a qualified Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Supervisor . I have completed Inner Re-patterning training. I work in private practice from a number of settings across Blackpool, Fleetwood and Preston.
I have advanced university qualifications in CBT. I am also a qualified Couples and Family therapist. I am a Mindfulness Practitioner. I am a qualified Advanced IEMT Practitioner. I completed a Foundation Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). I am an Attachment and Narrative Therapy (ANT) Family Therapist having trained at the renowned Bowlby Centre in London.
I am a Registered and Accredited Eating Disorders psychotherapist. I am interested in expanding my EFT practice especially around trauma such as PTSD, OCD and in couple work.
I have extensive experience/qualifications in working with Learning and Physical disabilities latterly managing a service for Autism, learning and physical disability, I hold an Advanced Certificate in HIV/AIDS Counselling. I work with Psycho-sexual issues.
I have full insurance to practice and hold an enhanced DBS disclosure certificate.
I volunteered with Cruse Bereavement (Lancashire) as a bereavement, grief and loss counsellor, trainer and supervisor. I volunteered with Cruse for seven years until April 2022 when I decided to pursue new volunteering opportunities.
I am a registered member of the BACP, a member of the BABCP and EFT International and the Intergral Eye Movement Association.
I offer single session therapy, one to one therapy and group therapy.
In 2019 I completed a foundation course in Infertility/surrogacy counselling.
