About Emily:

I am a qualified counsellor with a Bachelor of Counselling and an accredited EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Practitioner. I am passionate about supporting people to understand and work through the emotional patterns, experiences and beliefs that may be influencing how they feel and respond in their everyday lives.

My particular areas of interest include anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation and core beliefs. I am especially interested in helping clients explore the deeper beliefs and past experiences that can sit beneath current emotional difficulties, such as feelings of not being good enough, fear of rejection, self-doubt or feeling unsafe.

Alongside EFT, my counselling experience includes working with Internal Family Systems (IFS) concepts and a trauma-informed approach. I value looking beyond the presenting issue and gently exploring the different experiences, emotions and protective patterns that may be contributing to it.

I use EFT as a practical yet compassionate way of helping clients connect with difficult emotions, memories and beliefs while supporting a greater sense of emotional safety and self-awareness. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to the individual, with an emphasis on working at a pace that feels manageable for each client.

My aim is to provide a warm, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood and supported as they work towards meaningful and lasting change.
