Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner
I'm a UK-qualified teacher who now works full-time as an EFT Practitioner, Youth Mentor, and Educational Consultant. I specialize in stress, anxiety, and academic performance.
In my work with individuals, I support:
>>> students (upper primary, middle school, high school, and adults) who want to reduce their high levels of stress and/or anxiety so that they can achieve their academic potential.
>>> parents and teachers who want to reduce their stress and/or anxiety levels to enjoy better health and well-being.
I also work with IB World Schools, introducing stress management techniques like EFT Tapping to students, parents, and teachers to help support well-being, concentration, motivation, and student academic achievement.
I believe that if we care about student well-being, it makes sense to also care for the well-being of those who care for them.
Many parents I work with want to reduce their stress levels and improve their self-care habits so that they can connect more deeply with their child and with themselves. Many of the teachers I work with are tired of feeling stressed and overwhelmed due to work-related pressures, and they want to reduce their stress levels and improve their self-care habits so that they can improve their quality of life.
In my work with students, I specialize in helping students overcome test/exam-related stress, panic attacks, bad health habits (e.g. coffee overload for cramming/concentration before an exam, energy drinks, sugar cravings, sleep deprivation from Netflix/YouTube binge watching habits) and procrastination habits that prevent them from doing their best work. Most of my youth mentoring work is done through EFT sessions, because of how gentle and effective EFT is as a tool for processing a build-up of workload stress, and anxiety, and for supporting self-care and study habit change.
The 4 main stress-related problems people come to me to work on are:
1) Academic stress (procrastinating, falling behind on big assignments due to bad smartphone / social media / gaming habits, too much test / exam stress, class presentation performance anxiety).
2) Stress and procrastination over study or work-related issues (e.g. what to do for your dissertation, procrastination getting your university assignments done, procrastinating on sending your CV to apply for a job, job interview stress, whether to apply for a Masters / Ph.D. or get a job, whether to drop out of your university degree/course, etc).
3) Stress caused by bad habits (e.g. sleeping habits, which are often linked to bad smartphone / social media habits, bad/non-existent scheduling habits, unhealthy/junk food habits).
4) Relational stress (parent-child conflict, teacher-student conflict, unreasonable workload expectations being placed on you / unnecessary 'busy work' directives, or workplace bullying / conflict).
