About Quinixx Karen:

Hello! I feel SO delighted and thankful to work as an EFT Tapping Practitioner and PSYCH-K® Facilitator. For many years I was a music teacher, charity co-founder, home educating mother, book author and publisher, as well as a life coach in Hong Kong. I also created the Periodic Table of Inner Elements and co-created a set of playing cards with this table for healing and meaningful entertainment purposes.

I now provide individual and group tapping sessions for conscious clients who are committed to long-term inner growth. I have very strong faith in infinite possibilities and miracles, as well as everyone’s innate ability to create their best reality.

Since 2011, I have learned different modalities and concepts for my own healing, such as Self-Coaching (with Dr Chou Wah Shan), Inner Child Journey (with Robin Grille), Play Therapy for Parents (with Lottie Lau), Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) (with Mr. Chi Hin Cheong), Hakomi (with UK trainers), Quantum Healing Meditation (with Dr Joe Dispenza), Helping Mode Parenting (by Lloyds deMause), Resilience and Biphasic Traits (by Dr Al Siebert), Channeled Writing (with Danny Khursigara), PSYCH-K® (with Adelajda Child, Sandra Wallin and Cazzie Dare) and Self-Directed Learning/Education.

I believe that divine and pure love energy resides within every person, and that everyone has the potential to live a truly fulfilling, easy and thriving life. My role is to provide a conscious space and Self-led energy for clients' self discovery and transformation of their burdened parts. I am also capable to support clients' diverse needs in resolving issues across various areas, such as parenting, education, relationships, health, career and business.

Here is a testimonial written by my client Ronnie:

***Karen taught me how to reconnect with my Self***

At the start of this year, a combination of caregiver burnout and unresolved work issues led me to try coaching with Karen. I had been doing self-healing work for a few years, especially with Internal Family Systems (IFS), but I had reached a point where I felt stuck. I was not making the progress I once had, and I was not sure about the direction I was heading. I had lost confidence in my ability to heal on my own and was not sure I wanted to keep going.

At first, the coaching sessions did not seem to bring much change. I was really trying to "do it right"—preparing for the sessions, taking notes, doing the exercises afterward. I wanted to make sure I was getting the most out of it, that I was not wasting my time or money. But as a result of not wanting to schedule the next session until I had taken the time to completely ingrain the content from the previous one, my sessions were sporadic in the first couple of months.

It was not until later that I realized this mindset was part of the problem—the belief that I always had to work as hard as possible, striving for perfection in everything I did. I thought if I did not push myself, I would perceive myself as lazy, and that I would not survive, let alone succeed. I had not even realized how deeply that mindset had shaped me until it started to break down in the coaching sessions.

During this time, I began to see Karen’s approach in action. Her qualities—non-judgment, endless patience, deep compassion, profound understanding of healing, intuitive insights, and emotional engagement—stood out to me quickly. I could sense her genuine desire to help, like a good friend. Karen also shared personal stories of struggle, including her recovery from cancer, which resonated deeply with me. Her courage and determination gave me the strength to open up in ways I had not thought possible. As someone who usually finds it difficult to be vulnerable, I was amazed at how safe and supported I felt with her.

And I believe what really made healing work for me is: to be able to share my struggles with someone who not only understands—often from personal experience—but also has the expertise and emotional capacity to guide me through it. This rare combination of qualities—non-judgment, skill, and compassion—is I believe what sets Karen apart in the coaching field. It gave me the confidence to start the process of opening up and facing my own emotional barriers.

But even with her support and the progress I was starting to make, the journey was not smooth. There were many highs and lows. Some days, I would have a breakthrough and feel euphoric, like I had cracked open a part of myself I had been hiding from for years. Then, just a few days later, I would fall back into old patterns, and doubts would creep in—"Am I really making progress?" or "Am I ever going to heal enough to move on?"

What I have come to realize is that healing is not linear, and sometimes the more I work through my past traumas, the more resistance I feel. It is as if my old beliefs and emotions fight back—sometimes harder than I expect—just when I think I am on the verge of making lasting change. This resistance can be painful, but I have learned that it is not a sign of failure. It is part of the process, and in those moments, something deeper is shifting.

One of the most eye-opening moments for me has been recognizing a belief I did not even know I held: a mindset of scarcity. It was not just about money—I had this underlying belief that there was never enough time, never enough energy, never enough health. It had driven so much of my life—pushing me to chase achievements, success, and experiences, always trying to get more time to earn more money, or more achievements, to prove something. I had not realized how empty and exhausted that made me feel until Karen pointed it out.

Now, I am trying to shift that mindset. I am learning to believe that I already have enough—enough time, enough health, enough abundance in my life. If I can let go of the constant fear of lack, I will be able to slow down, relax, and follow what feels right for me. I am not there yet. It is a constant challenge to unlearn these old patterns, and sometimes I still find myself rushing through the day or planning too far ahead. But now that I am aware of it, I am hopeful that with time, I will embody the abundance mindset more and more.

There have definitely been some unexpected moments along the way, too. I will never forget one coaching session when a cockroach suddenly appeared in my room. I am absolutely terrified of them—like full-on panic mode when I tried to run around the room to kill it. I admitted my fear to Karen, and without missing a beat, she used Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping to help me process those past experiences of being frightened by cockroaches. It was wild—I was able to recall several specific encounters. After that, I continued to use the tapping technique on my own, and now, while I am not completely fearless around cockroaches, I can at least write the word "cockroach" here without feeling like I need to run and hide! That is a small but significant victory for me.

Through all of this, I have come to understand that healing is not about fighting the pain or overcoming my past. It is about accepting it, about learning to live with all the parts of me that have been hurt and finding a way to integrate them into who I am now. One of Karen’s favorite sayings is, "It is okay to not be okay," and for me, that has become such an important truth. The healing process is long, it is not linear, and it is often painful. But it is okay to have setbacks, and it is okay to take my time.

I know there will still be many uncertainties ahead, and I am learning how to embrace them. As I continue on this journey, I feel quietly confident about the possibilities that await me. With Karen’s wisdom and compassion as my guide, I am more certain than ever that I am on the right path.
