Louise Rippon

Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner
I am an EFT International Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner and trauma-informed practitioner, offering therapeutic support to individuals, families, and organisations through my practice, Preziosa Therapia.
My work integrates Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) with person-centred, trauma-informed practice, with a focus on nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and core belief work. I support clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm, alongside more complex presentations including childhood trauma, domestic abuse, and emotional eating patterns.
I bring over a decade of professional experience across health, social care, custodial, and community settings, including roles as a Mental Health Crisis Lead and Service Lead. This has developed my expertise in crisis intervention, de-escalation, risk management, and delivering safe, structured therapeutic support.
Alongside my clinical work, I am the developer and facilitator of therapeutic and emotional regulation programmes, including Tap into calm™, a community-based programme delivered in collaboration with the Isle of Wight Council. These funded programmes support children, young people, and families to build emotional regulation skills using trauma-informed, neuroaffirming approaches. I also design bespoke wellbeing programmes for community and organisational settings, reflecting the specific needs of the groups I support.
I have a particular interest and expertise in neurodiversity, providing affirming, informed support for both adults and children with ADHD, autism, and related traits. My approach recognises and respects difference, focusing on empowerment, regulation, and self-understanding rather than deficit.
As both a practitioner and a parent of neurodivergent children, I bring lived experience alongside professional training. This allows me to offer a grounded, compassionate, and realistic approach to therapeutic work.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and am currently training on the BACP pathway towards full registration as an integrative psychotherapist. My work is supported by regular supervision and guided by ethical, trauma-informed practice.
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace.
