Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner
I am qualified social worker with many years of experience working with children look after, who have suffered traumatic experiences in their life which show on their behaviour. I am also an adoptive mother who has first hand experience of secondary trauma and how this impact on adults behaviour. Both my professional career and my personal journey as an adoptive parent, led me to pursue a more holistic approach in life and as I obtained benefits from reflexology treatments, I decided in 2006 to train as Reflexologist to further understand the therapy, which initiated my approach to alternative health and therapies. Due to several personal issues in my life I stopped practising reflexology for a few years and in 2015 I decided to resume my practise and enrolled in the Sorensen Facial Reflexology course, which is based in Oriental medicine and the treatments are based in working with meridian points. When I came across with tapping, I started seen a connection of the benefits of tapping in meridians as I experienced better results from using this technique that what I had experienced through years of therapy which led me to a more centred and peaceful attitude towards life. With this background, and my interest in learning, I decided to become an EFT practitioner so I could combine these technique with reflexology, which I believe provide a good combination. Furthering my interest I have successfully completed the Diploma in IET and became a NLP practitioner. My next step is to become an Advance EFT Practitioner in the very near future.
