Susan Bushell

After receiving a B.Sc. from McMaster University in Psychology and working for five years at Chedoke Hospital (now McMaster Hospital) in Hamilton, Ontario with a 25 member treatment team for high risk youth and their families, I came home to raise my children for 13 years. After recognizing new intuitive skills I learned numerous Energy Medicine Techniques and opened a private practice in 2003. I soon recognized that most issues people have, whether physical or emotional often are rooted in emotional pain from their past. that has not been properly addressed and neutralized at the body (somatic) level. Energy Psychology then became the focus of my learning and my clinical practice and I began the training process with EFT International. I have trained with Founding Masters Ann Ross, Judy Byrne, Gwyneth Moss, Jacqui Crooks, Sue Beer, Emma Roberts and Carol Look and am now one of only four EFT International Trainers in Canada. I became an EFT Trainer in Canada with EFT International to ensure high quality, professional training exists for those wanting to learn how to Tap for themselves and their clients and patients. I have worked with Indigenous communities, mental health professionals, teachers, crisis workers, Emergency Services personnel and lay people. I work hard to keep up to date on developments in the EFT community and am dedicated to ensuring that Canadians receive professional training and mentoring. I am now semi-retired and work 2 days/week for sessions and train approximate 3 times/year with ongoing monthly "office hours" for any of my students to attend at no extra fee.
I have facilitated thousands of sessions and trained over 700 EFT students and practitioners. I offer regular mentoring options, one-on-one, online sessions. My specialties include working with anxiety, trauma, abuse and depression and I love working with tough cases where people are psychologically reversed or stuck in their Fight, Flight or Freeze Response but motivated to change. I am passionate about ensuring there is excellent quality EFT training available to everyone who wants it. I am the founder of the EFT Gathering in Ontario, Canada, former co-Chair of EFTi's Training and Certification Board. I am now semi-retired and do session work 2 days/week and teach EFT approximately 3 times/year. I am also happy to travel to a group in Canada to teach EFT. I take a particular interest in ensuring those on the front line of Mental Health professions receive this well researched healing technique both for themselves and their clientele. I have spent my entire adult life working in the "helping" professions and feel very much at home with EFT and Energy Psychology. I can't imagine completely retiring from it.
