Ivy Tolchinsky

Ivy is a recovery coach who works with adults recovering from addiction, to become the most resilient version of their sober selves. She does this through her coaching programs, namely her 7-step signature My Resilient Recovery for those who want to take their sobriety to the next level; whether you’re fresh out of rehab or you have been around for a while. As an Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner, she finds EFT has allowed her clients to not only deal with cravings and physical well-being and anxiety, but to explore and experience the deeper work necessary for emotional sobriety.
She has dedicated over 18 years of her career to the field of addiction treatment, working as a counselor, coach, supervisor, group facilitator and clinical manager. She has experience in both the inpatient and outpatient environment. Ivy has worked in a variety of treatment facilities including Edgewood Heath Network (Canada’s premier addiction treatment and mental health provider) and Chatsworth Pavilion (internationally known exclusive residential treatment centre).
She has also designed and delivered numerous programs and workshops including relapse prevention strategies, identifying personal and professional values and creating your vision, finding the career you love, job interview skills, conflict resolution, and improving communication skills in recovery. More recently she has created a monthly EFT tapping group for people in recovery.
As a recovering woman herself with over 30 years of sobriety, Ivy believes you own the right to experience a deeply resilient recovery; whether you’re struggling to gain traction or are stable and want something more. You have a natural creativity that is the foundation of your very being. You deserve the opportunity to reach your potential; to love yourself, to be joyful in your relationships and be fulfilled by the work or career you choose.
Ivy’s goal is to be there with you as a co-creator and co-navigator. She creates rapport quickly by holding a safe space. And uses her many skills including her unique sense of humour at the right moment. With her help you find the best of yourself and design the most resilient life EVER!

When Ivy is not working, you can find her singing, playing guitar, cooking, chalk painting, watching movies, meditating, fitness walking or hanging out with family and friends.
