Elimination of PTSD and Other Psychiatric Symptoms in a Disabled Vietnam Veteran with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) in Six Sessions Using Healing From the Body Level Up Methodology, an Energy Psychology Approach

This observational study with a within-subjects, time-series, repeated measures design examined the effects of six sessions of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) on psychological symptoms in seven veterans. The results showed significant decreases in symptom severity (40%), anxiety (46%), depression (49%), and PTSD (50%), with gains maintained at 90-day follow-up. The study suggests that EFT may be an effective treatment for veterans with psychological problems, although the small sample size limits the generalizability of the findings.

The patient's progress was measured using standardized assessments, including the SA-45 and PCL-M, which showed significant improvements two months post-treatment.
