Single Session EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) for Stress-Related Symptoms After Motor Vehicle Accidents: A Case Study

This clinical report presents three cases where Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), a form of energy psychology, were used to treat posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and acute stress symptoms resulting from motor vehicle accidents (MVAs). EFT was effective in treating PTSD and related symptoms in a single session, regardless of whether treatment occurred immediately, two weeks, or 11 months after the accident. The report highlights the potential of EFT as an accelerated healing approach for PTSD and calls for further research to confirm its effectiveness.
