Neurophysiological Indicators of EFT Treatment Of Post Traumatic Stress
This research study, conducted by Dr. Paul Swingle and his colleagues (Swingle, Pulos & Swingle, 2005), studied the effects of EFT on auto accident victims suffering from post traumatic stress disorder – an extremely disabling conditioning that involves unreasonable fears and often panic attacks, physiological symptoms of stress, nightmares, flashbacks, and other disabling symptoms. The study found that participants who sustained benefits from EFT treatment had distinct neurophysiological changes compared to those who did not. The results suggest that EFT may be an effective treatment for post-traumatic stress, and that brainwave changes may be a useful indicator of treatment efficacy.
