It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Craig Weiner. He was a respected colleague, volunteer trustee of EFT International, Master Trainer of Trainers, Doctor of Chiropractic and valued friend. He passed away at the end of September.
Craig was a true champion of EFT in the global community, well-known for his advocacy of the modality. He joined EFTi in 2016, and a couple of years later volunteered on our Research Committee. In 2022, having stepped up as Chair of the Board of Trustees, he helped the charity evolve into one with stronger governance and a clearer purpose and encouraged a culture of collaboration and openness.
Out in the world, the impact he has made on the profession of EFT tapping has been seismic. Together he and his wife and partner Alina taught and mentored hundreds of EFT students and practitioners, working diligently to ensure that a high standard of practice is carried forward. As one of his clients aptly shared on Facebook, “He walked many people home to themselves.”
Craig will be remembered for his joy for living and seemingly endless energy, easy manner and deliberative, caring approach to solving problems. His excitement for EFT was matched only by his commitment to championing progressive causes, building community and lifting others up.
As a treasured colleague, he will be missed by all who served with him. We send our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones during this difficult time. If you knew Craig or were touched by his caring and passion, we invite you to share your reflections below.

Craig was the kindest. We will always remember him that way.
Deborah Miller says
Last year Craig and Alina came to Oaxaca, Mexico where we had the opportunity to share some lovely experiences. I’m so honored that I got to meet Craig, got to know him in person and feel his amazingly loving energy. He has been a blessing to all who have come in contact with him.
Lisa Nielsen-Karatz says
When times were tough for people, Craig clearly stepped into a the space to care and love. During the cold winter months of 2026, Minnesotan’s experienced the horrible ICE raids, as I witnessed the loss of my immigrant clients, Craig and Allina reached out to me to offer their love and support. I will forever be touched by the love that shines through this Zoom call. Alina, te mando un abrazo fuerte y mucho paz.
Corby Furrow says
Craigs capacity to exude joy seemed endless. He was a wonderful role model. It was so nice to see how Craig and Alina worked, lived and loved together . He was a gift to this world and an example of how to live fully.
Tianna Arredondo says
While on Whidbey Craig was the one safe space I could count on, not only when I needed it but when he sensed something was relevant. He helped me remain walking and standing. He would have dynamic talks with me about my beliefs around my disabilities and what’s possible beyond the idea of them while carefully not shying away from the actual hell of chronic pain. I just had a big hug from Craig before he left. I’m so glad I was able to get a good squeeze and see his face one last time. The most beautiful things about Craig were how much he loved, how he looked anything directly in the “eye,” and contented with it as an individual, a teacher, an earth angel and a flawed human. I will always remember him as an example of embodied, practical, unwavering courage and integrity. Not because he’s super human or anything like that but because he was so vulnerable, direct and passionate about everything. Especially his practice, EFT, his kids, his wife, habibi & what felt like his responsibility to tend that day. I still can’t fathom he’s gone and will think of him literally forever as one of those rare souls you are lucky to have time with.
Samantha Parker says
I feel so grateful to have learned EFT and Matrix Reimprinting from Craig and Alina. Craig was such a kind, thoughtful and generous man, with a wonderful sense of humour. His warmth and teachings will stay with me. Alina, I’m sending you my love, blessings and heartfelt condolences. Holding you and your family in my heart..❤️❤️❤️
Tania A Prince says
I was very sad to hear of the passing of Craig. Craig gave so much of his time to help EFT become more accepted and visible around the world. I think we will forever be indebted to the time, effort and passion he put into it. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
Lorena Thompson says
I will ever be grateful to Craig. His ability to explain trauma made it much easier to understand and his compaction and his nonjudgmental ways provided a safe place to clarify things. Alina, I am so very sorry for your loss – The love you shared shone through whenever you were together. If there is something I can do to help during this time, please reach out. Take care of yourself. My sincere condolences to all those who loved Craig.
Yvonne Toeset says
Craig was one of those people I thought would always be around. I believe we first met in 2012, when he and Alina were in the Netherlands to run EFT & Matrix Reimprinting workshops.
When we both became trainers at EFTi, we would bump into each other from time to time.
His passing has deeply affected everyone who knew him. I would like to wish Alina, his family and friends much strength in coping with this sudden loss

I so enjoyed your beautiful, colourful posts from your new home these past few weeks. Your joy and exuberance just bounced off the page! Sending love to Alina and all your family.
Sherina James says
Craig provided invaluable support the last seven years as my EFT Tapping mentor. I appreciated his zest for life and enjoyed witnessing the adventures he and Alina shared as they traveled and relocated. He would often check in and encourage me to throughout my journey to become a certified practitioner. I know there are many times when he was a true sponsor and spoke my name in rooms that I was not in and I appreciate him for that. I will miss his guidance, light, and brilliance. His advocacy and support of EFT Tapping was monumental and part of his legacy. Thank you, Craig for showing us the many ways a full life could be lived. Sending love to Alina and Craig’s loved ones.
Ousaima Alghazou says
I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our Friend Craig . I will always remember him for his joyful laughter, his vibrant love for life, and his wonderful passion for cooking. He was also a true nature lover who found so much joy in caring for his garden and planting. He was a unique soul who was never afraid to speak his mind honestly. Sending my heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones, wishing them strength and peace during this difficult time.

My thoughts are with Alina, Craig’s family and all those who loved him at this incredibly difficult time.
Rowena Beaumont says
I have gratitude for the role Craig played in EFTi for a number of years. In July we had a zoom meeting as he was reaching out to Trainers and I felt a warmhearted connection with him. He heard what I had to say, understood my viewpoint and acted upon it with so much integrity. I felt shocked to hear of the news of his passing and my love goes out to Alina and his family. I lit a candle for his onward journey..
Emma Roberts says
I had the opportunity to work alongside Craig at EFTi and very much admired his calm, caring energy and warmth, and his ability to connect to others with such grace and ease. EFTi has lost a true guiding light. Craig’s love for Alina shone through every area of his life and my heart goes out to her, and to Craig’s family. What a wonderful footprint he leaves behind, he touched so many hearts. What an incredible legacy. Thank you Craig, you are gone far too soon.
Caryl Westmore says
My heart has been led to re-share a recent podcast interview I aired a few weeks ago with Craig showing personal insights he may not have shared elsewhere about his own inner work on issues that affect us as practitioners…like Imposter Syndrome…feeling “not good enough” etc. This was connected with a chapter he contributed to a recent collaborative tapping book: “Tap into Your Best Life, EFT Tapping Stories of Real-Life Transformation and Healing.”
His topic: Healing Inner Blocks to Building a Thriving Practice. In it he said many EFT Practitioners are themselves blocked by the very inner patterns they help their clients heal. 1. IMPOSTER SYNDROME (about worthiness) 2. FEAR OF BEING SEEN (about safety). 3. THE SCARCITY IMPRINT (often an inherited belief). 4.RESISTANCE TO STRUCTURE (fear of failure). His final words: “You build a thriving practice not by pushing harder, but by transforming the inner patterns that once held you back.” In our podcast conversation we discussed these as “tappable issues” but what lingers most for me are his words about dropping judgement and addressing our issues with self-compassion. https://youtu.be/DXvwr_DKbCE?si=YUqw2s667ZgGZY5J
Ashley Meyer says
I was deeply shocked and sadenned to hear of the untimely passing of Craig, and convey my deepest sympathies to Alina and his loved ones. Although my interaction with Craig was very brief, I feel the waves of loss reverberating through the EFT community. Craig was a caring and talented practitioner and contributed significantly to the EFT world. He will be missed. Deepest condolences.
Katie Walker says
It is difficult to find words that feel big enough to honour the impact Craig has had on my life, both personally and professionally.
My EFT journey actually began with a different organisation. Then Dr Peta Stapleton hosted Alina and Craig on the Gold Coast for their Art of Delivery workshop. I flew over to attend, not knowing at the time just how significant that decision would become for me.
I remember experiencing Alina and Craig together and immediately knowing I wanted more of these two incredible humans. More of their wisdom and knowledge, more of the way they taught, more of their presence, and more of the depth and integrity they brought to EFT. That workshop changed the direction of my EFT journey.
I moved across to what was then AAMET, before it became EFT International, and over the years I continued to learn from Craig and Alina whenever I could. I repeated Level 1 & 2 with them numerous times, completed Level 3, their MBA program and the EFT Relationship Certification program. Craig became my mentor through my Advanced Certification and later through my Trainer journey. I kept coming back because there was always more to learn.
Craig and Alina lifted the bar for me in terms of what it meant to be an EFT Practitioner. They taught and modelled high standards, depth, curiosity, integrity, trauma-informed and safe practice, and an enormous respect for both the modality and the person sitting in front of us.
Craig expected a lot. And I am so grateful that he did. His knowledge was extraordinary, but it was never just his knowledge. It was his wisdom, his humour, his kindness, his generosity, his curiosity, his willingness to challenge, his high expectations and his absolute commitment to doing this work well. He made you want to keep learning, questioning, refining and becoming better.
So much of what Craig taught me has become woven into the way I practise, train and mentor today. There are moments when I hear myself teaching something and recognise where part of that learning began. His influence will continue to ripple through my work and, in turn, through the Practitioners I train and mentor and the people they go on to support. That is an extraordinary legacy.
Craig and Alina, you have both given so much to the EFT community, and I feel incredibly fortunate that my path led me to you all those years ago on the Gold Coast.
Craig, thank you for seeing potential in me, for challenging me, for expecting more of me, for sharing your extraordinary knowledge so generously and for helping shape me into the Practitioner, Trainer and Mentor I am today and continue to become. What you gave me was priceless. I will carry your teachings, your standards and so many memories with me as I continue this work that you cared so deeply about. You were one of a kind, Craig. I will miss you enormously and will be forever grateful that you were my trainer, my mentor and such a significant human in my life.
And to beautiful Alina, my heart remains with you. Thank you for sharing this extraordinary man with so many of us, and for everything you and Craig have given to me and to our EFT community.
With so much love, gratitude and respect. Katie
Puja Kanth says
I met Craig online a couple of times through TAC meetings and had a chance to take his TOOT course. I was struck by his joie de vivre and his dedication to EFT and the EFTi Community. It still feels surreal.
He will be missed by many as he touched so many lives.
Stephanie Carson says
Like many have already expressed, it is hard to find words to express how much Craig meant to me. He was my EFT trainer, my ongoing mentor, and my never-ending source of encouragement.
Craig was full of life – vibrant, funny, genuine, and always ready with a word of encouragement (or, when needed, a little sprinkle of truth). He had a way of making you laugh, think, and sometimes see yourself a little differently, all while making you feel completely supported. His ability to truly embody the teachings of EFT was extraordinary. He didn’t just teach the techniques – he lived the principles. His passion for helping others find greater wellness was unmistakable, and his dedication to this work was something I deeply admired.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have received both my EFT Certification and Matrix Reimprinting training from Craig and Alina. They were partners not only in life, but in the work they so passionately shared with others. Their chemistry was undeniable, and they shared a bond that far surpassed what many experience in their lifetime. My training with them gave me a much deeper understanding of how important it is to balance technical skill with genuine compassion and presence. That lesson has stayed with me and continues to influence the way I work with my clients.
Alina – my heart breaks for you as I know you were beginning a new, exciting chapter in your lives. Every now and then, Craig would send me pictures – usually of some amazing-looking margarita or a homemade meal made with fresh produce you had found at the local market. You could feel his happiness through those pictures. He absolutely adored exploring, enjoying, creating, and building a life with you.
Craig left his mark on so many of us. His teachings, his humor, his encouragement, his honesty, and his passion will continue through the people he taught and the lives he touched. I am so grateful that I got to be one of them.
Thank you, Craig, for everything you taught me, for the laughter, the encouragement, the truth when I needed it, and for the example you gave us of how to truly embody the work. You will be deeply, deeply missed.
Em Pepar says
What a gift it has been to work with Craig as a trustee for the last 3 years. I will miss him dearly… his boundless energy, his passion for the mission of EFTi, his generosity of spirit and in sharing his time and his knowledge, his warmth and inclusiveness, his humour, his humility and his respect for others.
I’m so thankful for the kindness and support he showed me over the last few years when dealing with family illness.
He worked tirelessly to further EFT, both in our organisation and in the world, it is hard to believe he is no longer in it. His impact will be though. All of those he taught, mentored, supported, worked alongside, laughed with, encouraged… we will carry that impact forward.
You will be missed, Craig!
Bruno Sade says
Over these past few days since hearing about Craig’s passing, I’ve found myself thinking about all the ways he positively impacted my life, and there are simply too many to name.
Craig and Alina laid so much of the foundation for the competent and ethical way I strive to practice EFT today. So much of what I’ve learned about this work came through them, and most of the friendships and connections I’ve made over the years within the EFT community began through the spaces they created.
Craig and Alina were also always very generous with me through their time, their encouragement, and the opportunities they gave me to learn and grow.
Craig was a truly inspiring person. His commitment to EFT, his curiosity, his generosity, and the energy he brought to what he did had a real impact on me, both professionally and personally. I especially admired his honesty and his commitment to being accurate and responsible in the way he spoke about EFT. I know I’m only one of many people around the world who can say that.
I’m very grateful to have known him, and I will miss him.
Julian says
God bless Craig’s Soul, and blessings to Alina and family.
Kay Christopher says
Words seem so inadequate—what a beautiful soul and heart, what a generous spirit, what a treasure—the world is not the same without you in it Craig Weiner. Thank you for all you gave, for shining your light so brightly, for making the world a better place. You will be so very missed. May your continued journey be filled with Light, Love and Peace.
Lucas Gonzalez Santacruz says
I met Craig for the first and last time, was it a couple of weeks ago, in a volunteers meeting, where he was intrigued with the possibility of making it easier to add our strengths. Later that day, he took the time to email with appreciation and encouragement. Instant connection, instant missing. Buen viaje.
Veronica Valli says
Like so many, I am in deep shock and disbelief at the loss of such a wonderful human. Craig was a good man; he made the world a better place. He helped me with my practice and some personal trauma. I will never forget him. All my love goes out to his beloved wife and family. May his memory be a blessing.
Eric Tamai says
I am deeply saddened by the heartbreaking news of Craig’s passing. Having received his guidance in a group mentoring session as recently as August 25th, I am still in disbelief.
As someone who has had the privilege of learning from both Craig and Alina as my mentors, I have been deeply touched by their wisdom, warmth, and generosity. I feel immensely grateful for all that Craig shared with us.
My heart and deepest condolences go out to Alina and their family during this painful time. Rest in peace, Craig, and thank you for everything.
Liesel Teversham says
I’m still feeling like I can’t quite absorb and process this news, and of course, I have my wonderful EFT tool to help me along this road.
I have always had the biggest admiration and respect for how Craig approached life and people, especially reinforced by the first time we had contact. I had been tapping for 10 years and started dipping my toe into hosting a podcast. I had plucked up the courage to ask Craig to be a guest on my new show. I was pretty nervous as I held him in such high esteem. Craig was so kind, relaxed, grounded, and down-to-earth every step of the way.
I feel blessed to have benefited from his mentoring calls for EFT Practitioners. I remember with fondness another group that Craig and Alina hosted together, just before I made an enormous move to a different country. Their joint facilitation was priceless in a very challenging time for me.
I’m so grateful that they hosted so many podcasts together; those audios will help us feel he’s still right here with us.
Maya Angelou’s quote comes to mind when I think about Craig: “People will forget what you said, forget what you did, but never forget how you made them feel.”
He was kind, big-hearted, generous, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and saw the best in others. We’ve truly lost a Giant, and the afterlife has gained one.
My heart goes out to Alina, his family and friends, his students, his colleagues, EFTi, and everyone who knew him and feels the loss.
Thank you, Craig, for the enormous difference you made on our one precious Mother Earth.
Your Light will keep Shining.

Just beautiful 💔
Betsy Muller says
From the first time I met Craig at an ACEP meeting, it was clear he was a leader as well as an incredibly kind human being. At that same meeting I attended a presentation Craig and Alina gave on Matrix Reimprinting and it opened up my curiosity to study with them. Their love story was something to admire as well. From that first meeting, both Craig and Alina became friends and EFT trainers I knew I could reach out to. Craig had such a zest for life, a heart for helping and a genuine playful nature. His light was a bright one, It’s hard to imagine earth without him. What is clear is that he left a legacy of many organizations, causes, communities and individuals better off because he was here. Thanks you for your friendship and wisdom. Much love to Alina and the entire family.
Maria Sarkar says
I spoke to Craig only last week for the first and last time. He encouraged me to have a chat about volunteering for EFTi even though I was not sure how much I could commit. But talking to him motivated me to give it a go.
It was a shock to hear about his passing.
Sincere condolences to his family and all who worked with him.

I have always admired Craig Weiner. He seemed to have an immense store of vitality and positive energy, and he found so many ways to do good in the world. His generosity and big heart were there in everything he did, as were his top-notch skills and excellent professionalism. Although I didn’t know Craig well, his love of life and love of people just radiated from him. The great gift that Craig and Alina gave the world through so many EFT trainings and mentorships will live on. But the loss of Craig is devastating. Our hearts go out to Alina and to the family. EFT International and the whole EFT world have lost one of our greats.

I have been lucky enough to be mentored by Craig in becoming an EFT NQT over the past few years. His achievements and impact on EFT are huge but who he was as a person tops even that. Shadowing him and Alina in their trainings truly inspired me. Their level of knowledge, dedication and passion to providing high quality, trauma informed training is infectious. They are such wonderful people and I’m so grateful that I was able to spend as much time with Craig as I did, words don’t touch the side to what a brilliant man he was. My heart goes out to Alina and their family. To everyone who he mentored and trained. Thank you Craig, for everything. I will miss you greatly.

Dear Craig, your enthusiasm, your smile, your leadership, your presence, … you will be missed very much. Thank you for your service and leading the way. How were able to articulate and present your view points, in writing and through various modes of presentations, it’s always been an inspiration as a body based Tapper. The strength and inspiration I have received from you over the years is hard to express. May there be peace amongst us that remains so we can continue with the work, and build upon your legacy. Thoughts of peace and blessings to Alina.
Allison Simpson says
I do not think the EFTi community will ever fully understand just how much work Craig did, and the space he held, to ensure the professionalism, integrity, credibility, and sustainability of our accreditation.
From the first time I encountered Craig, I was struck by his honesty and open-heartedness. It was an honor to work by his side as a trustee, and I have the utmost respect for him, both as a colleague and as a human being. I only wish I could have met him in person.
His smile and good energy were infectious, and he will continue to inspire me to believe in happy endings and to live life to the fullest.
Alina, my heart breaks for you and for the loss of your other half. We are here to support you whenever you need us.
Gail Stone says
I have been a student in several courses with Craig and Alina, and Craig was my certification mentor. Craig and Alina have been the best teaching team I’ve ever experienced. Their abundant love for and joy in each other and their deep commitment to rigorous EFT training standards came through as they blended their differing teaching styles. It has been an honor and a privilege to have worked with both of them. Craig’s impact on the development and advocacy for EFT practice can’t be overstated.
Jacqueline says
I’ve been sitting here staring at this screen for what feels like hours, even though only moments have passed. I feel like my eyes have deceived me. This is such a profound loss for the world, for Craig’s friends and family, and most of all, for Alina. Alina, if you see this, I am sending you so much love. 🤍 Craig was a light in every space he entered. His humour, his kindness, and his patience, his ability to understand people without judgment, were truly something special. It has been such a privilege to know Craig and Alina as my EFT trainers and to have learned from them both. I wish my words could adequately express how deeply sorry I am. Craig touched so many lives, including mine, and I feel incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to know him. All my love.

We almost missed out on working with each other. I had booked a chat regarding a course you were doing with Alina, and for some reason, the call didn’t take place. But you kindly reached out on WhatsApp and you apologised. It was July 2025. You told me you were running late and that you sent an email. A few months later, I was able to get on the course I wanted and got to work with you & Alina. I still have your message on my phone. I was hoping to do another course, or some mentoring with you at some point. Condolences to Alina, your family and the whole EFTi Community. Fly high.
Doreen Baxter says
I did not know Craig Weiner personally but undertook the ‘Tapping out of Trauma’ course which he conducted with Suzanne Fageol. I cannot speak more highly of this course, its breadth and content, which included a range of demonstration videos of techniques. I was struck by how very generous both Craig and Suzanne were in sharing their knowledge, committed to best practice and the profession. Craig struck me as a very decent and authentic person, albeit that I only ‘knew’ him by reputation. he is a great loss to the profession.
Bianca von Heiroth says
I didn’t t know Craig personally, but, with his wife Alina, he was a beacon for navigators in the sometimes troubled waters of the EFT archipelago.
Silke Johnson says
Lots of gratitude in my heart for having experienced Craig’s kindness, joy, and his knowledge of and for EFT and trauma in courses, in his mentoring sessions, also through his involvement with EFT International, and in our recent webinar together. I highly appreciated his very calm and gentle presence. He had also just motivated me to join the EFTI research team as a volunteer. Lots of love and blessings to his family.
Peter Donn says
I feel such shock that Craig with his shining light and big heart is no longer with us. Thank you Craig for all you have done.
Lana Ackermann says
Craig reached out to the practitioners in South Africa with a genuine desire to connect with us, to get to know us, and to encourage and support us in our EFT practice and our involvement with EFT International.
He brought such enthusiasm, warmth and generosity to that relationship. He made a real effort to build bridges, to create connection, and to encourage us in our work. His willingness to reach out and invest in our community meant so much to all of us.
From all of us in South Africa, and from the trainees and practitioners whose lives he touched, we would like to express our deepest respect, appreciation and gratitude for this truly beautiful human being.
We feel privileged to have known him and to have experienced his kindness, encouragement and genuine commitment to the EFT community. His warmth and spirit will remain with us, and we honour the contribution he made to our lives and to our EFT journey.
Ralph Lewis says
Craig was a wonderful human being. Having worked alongside him as a Trustee for EFTi I saw his dedication to making it a more professional organisation to meet members’ needs and to share the benefits of EFT with the world. But more than that he was warm, caring and great fun and a pleasure to work with. I miss him very much
Sejual Shah says
I’ll remember Craig for his boundless enthusiasm, his commitment to fostering high standards in sharing EFT, and his ability to find good in another to appreciate whilst also carrying quiet discernment. We worked closely together for the last 4 years in leading EFTi. I am grateful for how much he contributed to the organisation as the work was often demanding. Since his passing it’s felt like he’s just gone into a Zoom room that I don’t have the access link to. Peace and blessings to you, my friend, on your journey forward.
Marie Holliday says
Dear Sejual, you worked so seamlessly together. Life may not be the same for us all on this earth but the Angels have acquired another beautiful soul and the blueprint of his soul ❤️ will always be with you.at every meeting, you will never be alone. Many blessings. xx

Craig had the biggest heart, and he wasn’t afraid to show it and lead with it. It’s really hard to put into words how I feel about him and the level of respect I’ve had for him over the years. I’ll always treasure the connection that we nurtured and wish that we’d had more time. Farewell, friend.
