Application of Emotional Freedom Technique to Reduce Anxiety in Patients with Gangrene Wounds

Summary: This quasi-experimental study investigates the use of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), taught through direct health counseling sessions, to alleviate anxiety in patients with gangrene wounds. The intervention empowered patients to independently apply EFT, leading to a significant reduction in anxiety levels.

The findings highlight EFT's effectiveness as a nonpharmacologic, self-help therapy for managing psychological distress.
