Case Study: Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) for Burnout

Summary: This case study explores the application of Clinical Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to help manage burnout in a high-functioning individual, specifically a female executive in a high-pressure corporate environment. The intervention focused on both present stressors, such as workplace challenges, and deep-seated issues from the client’s past, like feelings of inadequacy stemming from childhood experiences.

Over multiple sessions, EFT significantly improved the client’s anxiety, energy levels, and emotional stability, demonstrating its effectiveness as an adjunct to traditional self-care practices and therapeutic techniques like CBT.
