Abstract
EcoMeditation consists of four evidence-based techniques. These are: Quick Coherance Technique for regulating Heart Rate Variability, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Mindfulness and Neuro-feedback. This study looks at the use of EcoMeditation practices from a one day workshop. It measures anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, pain and happiness.
Method
Participants from a convenience sample of 151 participants (130 female, 21 male) ages 26 to 71 years who attended a one-day virtual EcoMeditation workshop. Assessed pre-workshop, post-workshop, and after 3-months.
Results
The study concluded that significant improvements resulted in the use of EcoMeditation through the one day workshop, in anxiety, pain, and post-traumatic stress. It also showed up benefits in flow states and transcendent experiences. The study emulated similar benefits in existing literature which support EcoMeditation as an effective stress reduction method.
