Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) for Students’ Mental Health: A Systematic Review

Summary: A study on Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) found significant improvements in psychological symptoms, including reduced anxiety, depression, PTSD, pain, and cravings, as well as increased happiness. Physiological measures also showed positive changes, including decreased resting heart rate, cortisol, and blood pressure. Additionally, immune function improved, as measured by increased salivary immunoglobulin A (SigA). These benefits were sustained at follow-up, suggesting that EFT can lead to both improved mental well-being and positive health effects.
