Summary: This systematic review aims to summarize and synthesize evidence on the effectiveness of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) in improving physical, mental, and emotional health for people with chronic diseases and mental health conditions. EFT combines acupressure point stimulation with cognitive strategies to reduce symptoms. Studies have shown EFT's potential benefits in reducing anxiety, depression, PTSD symptoms, and cortisol levels. The review will examine Level 1 scientific literature, including RCTs and cohort studies, to assess EFT's effectiveness in enhancing health outcomes.
