Investigation of the Effect of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) on Sleep Quality and Fatigue in Young People with Sleep Problems: A Randomized Controlled Study

Summary: A randomized controlled trial investigated the effect of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) on sleep quality and fatigue in university students with insomnia. The study involved 64 students, divided into an intervention group that received two EFT sessions and a control group that received no intervention.

The results showed significant improvements in insomnia severity, sleepiness, and sleep quality in the EFT group compared to the control group. While EFT did not significantly impact fatigue severity scores, it did help maintain expected fatigue levels, suggesting its potential as a useful technique for improving sleep quality in young people with insomnia.
