Summary: The study examined the effects of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) on anxiety and depression in veterans. Participants received six sessions of EFT, and results showed significant reductions in anxiety and depression symptoms. The study suggests that EFT can be an effective treatment for veterans experiencing anxiety and depression. The findings support the potential benefits of using EFT as a therapeutic approach for trauma and stress-related disorders.

EFTi Editor's Note: Phil Friedman introduces updated versions of several assessments (the Friedman Life Balance Scale, the Spiritual Awakening Scale, and the Friedman Mini 5 Factor Scale) with shorter scales based on a much larger sample size and 2 factor analysis by Loren Toussaint, Ph.D, and demonstrates how he uses these in an integrated evidence-based psychotherapy approach to tracking change.
