The Effect of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) on Anxiety and Caregiver Burden of Family Caregivers of Patients with Heart Failure: A Quasi-Experimental Study

Summary: This quasi-experimental study examined the effect of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) on anxiety and caregiver burden in family caregivers of patients with heart failure. The study involved 91 caregivers, with the intervention group receiving EFT training and the control group receiving no training.

The results showed that EFT significantly reduced anxiety and caregiver burden in the intervention group. The study suggests that nurses can use EFT as a useful tool to support family caregivers and alleviate their anxiety and burden.
