The Effectiveness of Emotional Freedom Techniques on Public Speaking Anxiety in University Students: An Integrated Review

Summary: This integrative review examined the effectiveness of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) programs in reducing public speaking anxiety in university students. The review analyzed 5 studies from various countries, including randomized controlled trials and mixed-methods designs. The majority of the interventions found that EFT significantly reduced public speaking anxiety in university students. The review suggests that EFT programs are achievable, worthwhile, and should be introduced early in university curricula to help students manage public speaking anxiety.
