Thought Field Therapy and Its Derivatives: Rapid Relief of Mental Health Problems Through Tapping on the Body

Summary: Energy psychology, a form of therapy that combines mind and body work, emerged in the 1970s from Applied Kinesiology. Dr. Roger Callahan developed Thought Field Therapy (TFT), a technique that uses simple procedures to rapidly relieve anxieties, phobias, and trauma. This approach has evolved into various derivative methods that can be used alongside traditional therapies, with some evidence supporting its effectiveness, including a large South American study.
