3rd Friday Free Monthly Workshop on “Sensory Based Stress Management Tools”

Event Description:

Join our monthly workshop as we explore body-centered approaches to stress management. Try some simple, easy to learn, potentially powerful, free, in-the-moment vagal toning, self-help tools.

1. Acupoint Stimulation: According to 10 years of studies done at Harvard Medical, stimulating specific pressure points (with needles in this study) is shown to down-regulate the amygdala (the stress center in our limbic brain,) leading to an overall feeling of reduced stress and more calm.
2. Controlled Breathing: contributes to rapid shifts in body chemistry.
3. Self-Havening & TTT style Tapping: Applying soothing touch appears to help us feel calmer fast.
