I’ve often heard people say, “You can use EFT Tapping for everything’’, and, over time, I’ve come to see how true that is: because everything is connected to how we feel about what’s happening.
Take this year, for example. In the Northern Hemisphere, we’ve been dealing with relentless heatwaves. And it’s not just about high temperatures. The heat changes our mood, affects how well we sleep, how clearly we think, how productive we are.
If you’re not in a comfortable environment, if you live in a city without much shade or green, it’s more than just uncomfortable, it’s exhausting.
I’ve noticed it in myself, and in my clients: more irritability, more fatigue, and a kind of background anxiety.
Sometimes people don’t even realise the weather is playing a part in their stress. But maybe it is.
Heat might not be the root cause of your anxiety, but it definitely amplifies whatever’s already difficult.
EFT can help
Of course, tapping won’t change the weather, but it can ease how we’re reacting to it. We can tap on the physical discomfort (“My body feels tired, sticky, tense”) or on the emotional overwhelm (“I’m so irritated, I can’t think straight, I just want this heat to stop”).
Even if the physical symptoms stay, just like when you're in pain or injured, the stress around the symptoms can soften. And when we reduce that layer of stress, our bodies and minds often respond with more ease, more resilience.
It may not solve the heat, but it changes our relationship to it. And that shift matters.
So yes, EFT really can be used for everything. Because anything that touches us emotionally can be a doorway into tapping.
And during these intensely hot days, supporting ourselves through EFT might just bring the breath of relief we didn’t know we needed.
