Tapping for Success: A Pilot Study

Summary: This study investigated the effectiveness of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) in reducing presentation anxiety in 46 female complementary therapy students. The results showed significant reductions in subjective distress and anxiety levels after a single EFT session. Students who used EFT over the next 8 weeks also showed a significant increase in grade points compared to those who didn't use EFT. Qualitative feedback suggested that EFT was effective in reducing anxiety, although some students chose not to use it and instead opted for other complementary therapies.
