Summary: A modified Delphi study was conducted to identify the desirable attributes of effective Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) practitioners due to the lack of clear definitions in the field. The study achieved consensus on 11 traits of effective EFT practitioners and 7 traits of ineffective practitioners among 22 skilled practitioners.
However, consensus was not reached on several core training elements, including adequate training, knowledge of other energy techniques, and the use of structured interviews. The results highlight the need for standardization in EFT training and supervision processes.
